Who is she?

User Researcher, Designer, Concept Creator, Advocate for Accessibility.

I was the child with the lemon-stand, dog walking service, and golf ball bucket sitting on the fence line ready for $1’s creating graphics and flyers starting at the age of 6. Passionately creating story books for the Elementary Creative Writing Contest, I vividly remember evoking as much emotion as possible from the judges (My mother’s colleagues) as possible. Middle school I focused on being cool. As a teenager you could find me drawing or painting, but as high school progressed I was drawn to a career that would give back to my family - people were still saying “starving artist” in 2016.

After earning my Associate’s Degree in high school, I pursued a Bachelor's in Health Sciences, determined to attend medical school, knowing I had no higher earthly calling than to help others. Entering college, I would not only do anything to make my parents proud, but I was secretly on the quest for what it meant to be “human”.

TL; DR

I didn’t find the meaning to life in university biology class.

Well, I did, but it was not the answer I was looking for. During my time in one of these roles, I was submersed into Marketing, creating social media posts and flyers. In awe that fulfilling creative work was now possible in our digital world, I endlessly googled, researched, and googled again. Then I found the path of UX; More googling. Finishing a certificate in UX, the leaves on the trees’ looked greener. I found I was able to create and design in a a way to make others lives’ in the world easier, more exciting, more understandable, more accessible. Constantly researching and creating, I aim to create case studies, digital media, landing pages, and so on and so forth, as often as possible.

Raised to be a lover of all things four-legged and in the “clean plate club” before I left the table, when I am not creating you can often find me spending time with my pets, baking, or with my family watching the Buffalo Bills.

Thank you for visiting!

Love,
